Hosting

The site is hosted by Vercel Inc. (United States). Vercel's edge network writes server access logs — your IP address, user agent, and the request timestamp — processed to deliver the site and defend it against abuse. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a working, secure site). A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place, and Vercel self-certifies under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework for the transfer of this data to the United States.

Analytics

The site uses Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to count visits and measure real-world page performance. Both are cookieless: no cookies are set, no cross-site tracking takes place, and no persistent identifier is stored. Visitors are distinguished only by an anonymised hash that rotates daily and cannot be linked back to you; only aggregated metrics are retained. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in understanding and improving usage).

Cookies

None. The site sets no cookies and uses no comparable local- or session-storage tracking.

Fonts & embeds

Every asset — fonts, images, styles, and the single script — is served first-party from this domain. There are no third-party CDNs, font services, trackers, maps, or social embeds, so loading the site shares no data with any such provider.

Email contact

If you write to mail@torben.ai, your message and address are processed solely to handle your enquiry — legal basis Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where it concerns a contract or steps toward one, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in replying). Correspondence is deleted once it is no longer needed.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability, and to object to processing based on legitimate interest. To exercise any of these, email mail@torben.ai. You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority — the one competent for me is the Hamburg Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (HmbBfDI).
